mud clean-up

So, I got stuck the other day trying to cross a small canal, dont ask me why lol. Got myself out, but the truck ended up lookin like I spent the day muddin.

Question is, do you think if I took a pressure washer to clean out the globs still stuck to the inside tops of my bedsides will mess up the backside of the tailights(wiring)?

Re: mud clean-up

You shouldn't have any trouble....When you're finished cleaning, give the connection a quick spray with a plastic safe contact cleaner.

Re: mud clean-up

one thing to look for is the license plate lights.
Mine actually had some mud in there, fogged up and tore them up. I had no idea ti'll the law dawg hauled me over one day.
Clean and dry those things good.

Re: mud clean-up

One more tip is to use an electric leaf blower to get rid of any water/moisture that may have found it's way into any electrical connections...
