Ok I want to get rid of the Pro 4x sticker on my truck! What is the best way.. Also, I want to remove all badges, paint them and re-apply. What is the easiest way for this? What paint is recommended for this?
Can't help you with the Pro4X stickers but I removed my badges and repainted them. I started with the whole fishing line and heat gun trick and that was a pain the ars. If you have a power washer, get up nice and close to the badge and spray directly down the edges between the badges and the side of the truck. This will loosen them up really well. Then I took a plastic painting trowel and wrapped a shop rag around it and gently worked the edges and they popped right off. Make sure to be gentle with the trowel so you do not leave any marks . I would recommend lightly sanding the badges before you paint and using a krylon plastic rattle can and just spray away. The just reapply with 3m auto tape. Good luck.

I had the 4x4 decals on mine when I bought it. I just waited for a hot day and pulled them off. Didn't need anything, power washer, heat gun, nothing. They came off pretty easy and in one piece.

This weekend would of been perfect for just peeling them off on a hot day.
You can't beat a heat gun and fishing line when it comes to removing badges. Piece of cake, just don't leave the gun pointing at your paint for too long.
I will give it a try! You sure the pressure washer wont f' w/ my paint?
Hmmm. I duno what to say haha. Mine did not do any harm. Mine is an electric one so it is not super powerful or anything. If you do it, just keep the sprayer at a steep angle with the truck so you are spraying down the side more on the tape then directly at the side. (if that makes any sense). I think the only place to be really concerned with paint chipping from a power washer is the front bumper.

Ya that makes sense! I will give it a try tomorrow in the heat of the day!
I would never ever but a pressure washer close to my paint. There's no warning before it starts blowing off paint. Go with the heat gun route for the decals and the stickers. A hair dryer will work too. A little bit slower but you'll have to try harder to screw up your paint. Use some goo gone automotive or something like it to take off the remaining sticky crap. Wax and go.
When I got mine it had little stickers all over it. 4x4, 5.6L, dealership, pinstriping, etc... Saw the pinstriping sagging one soggy florida summer day and peeled them all right off.
When you took off the 4x4 stickers, was it faded underneath? i want to take mine off, but i have had my titan for a year, plus its black, so i dont want to take them off and it be messed up
Ok, so how did you guys mark the location where the emblems used to be? I am nervous to take off in fear that i wont get it back i line
I first took a picture so I could use that as a reference. Then I took some painters tape and just placed it under the badges. I actually ended up moving them around a little because I thought it looked better. As long as you keep a symmetrical distance on each side of the TITAN and with the 5.6 SE then it should turn out okay.

Not faded at all, however, there are only 3000 miles on the truck
