Well, in efforts to keep my truck safe from bad weather, I scratched it trying to squeeze it in to our small garage. I've done this several times before w/ no trouble. It's such a tight fit. There are literally only a couple inches of room on each side. Both side mirrors touch the rubber flaps of the garage door opening when I come thru. Here are some pics of how close a fit it is... and also of my new scratch:

Funny, well not really...I just did the same thing to the same area of the truck. Mine looks more like a surface rub and luckily it didn't break through the paint. I've been waiting for it to warm up around here to get out the clay bar and see if I can clean it up and see the extent of the damage.

Our parking garage at work has some tight spaces and a couple weeks ago when I got out and saw how close I was to the concrete pillar on the right rear, I almost choked. I couldn't get a finger in between the truck body and the pillar...but fortunately, I didn't scratch it. Someone was watching over the Titan that day.

uuummmm.... "ouch!", I bet it took a little bit to get over the m-f-ing.. and chit-chit!'s to come to the realization that no matter how much you cuss or continue to be mad at yourself, you can't change what happened... I've been there, more times than I wanted... I can feel your pain, now go get some Mother's scratch out and some good wax... looks like the paint is intact where your deep scrapes are, so if it's still good, borrow some of the lady's clear nail polish to provide a make-shift clearcoat before waxing it...

Thanks for all the empathy and the tips. The long white marks buffed off just fine. However, it left a slight crease... and then there are the 3 bad spots where the paint was obviously broken thru. I put a good coat of wax.

call some of the mobile paintless dent removal guys and get some quotes, most of them stay well below your deductible, that's how they stay in business...
I see no pictures. I wish I could, I want to warn my wife about parking her vehicle - she's hit the door a few times.
