Angry Scratch on Bumper

Got these scratches on my bumper from the local grocery store, I always park away from everybody, but looks like someone hit it anyway. I got home, put some stuff away and decided to dust the truck off, and i noticed these scratches. They seem pretty deep, is there any way to get these out my self or should i just let the pros handle it.Thanks guys

Re: Scratch on Bumper

Ouch! That sucks man....

Without repianting the whole cover...Here's a low cost solution.

1. Get a matching touch-up paint
2. Using a super thin artists brush, fill the scratches in with the touch up.
Start with a light coat and let dry but continue building up the scratch with a few coats till it's a little above the regular paint surface.
3.Buff it lightly to smoothe it down.

If you're not comfortable with a buffer, follow the above steps and while it's clean and dry stop by a detailer and see if $20 will get someone to quickly give it a shot with a pad....Shouldn't be a big deal.

Good Luck! Hope this helped.
