Weather Stripping, and Black plastic areas

Hey guys, my weather stripping and mirrors are starting to look bad. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to use to restore and make them black again? I have read about Mothers Back to Black and found mixed reviews? Thought maybe someone else had ran into this and found a good product.

Thanks, James

We've got a site sponsor, Adam's Polishes, who has GREAT products for just about anything you want to clean on your truck. The VRT is one of the nicest products I've used so far. P's Titan is the guy to contact about the products on here. He'll set you up and give you some good advice. Plus you get a discount if you use the code FOLGER when ordering Adam's Products through here. It really does work!

Other options can include:

1.Ragg topp - especially developed for vinyl tops that are under constant exposure to the elements.
2. believe it or not....MOP N GLO...Developed to seal vinyl flooring
3. http://303products.com/ makes a vinyl sealer also

Re: Weather Stripping, and Black plastic areas

Ill back up the VRT. Used some to "restore" the black look on the plastic, vinyl, and the rag top on my wifes mustang. They were all CLEAN, but gray. Now, all black and lookin like new again.

Plus it lasts quite a long time. Periodic refreshening can be done with just a wipe. Give Pat a shout. He'll hook you up.
