I had a buddy riding in my truck and he spit chew out the window. However it went down the side of the truck. I just washed it today and I cant get rid of the residue it left behind. It's hard to explain but it just looks kind of dull. I tried re-washing and using dish soap too. Any ideas what I can do or what happend? I'm bummed, because its really obvious looking.
Sorry about your situation. Maybe some Adam's polish or paint cleaner ? Ask P's Titan.
I bet you never let your friend ride in your truck with chew in his mouth.

After kickin his a$$, I suggest kicking it again. As far as cleaning it goes, Im no expert. The experts will chime in and Im sure their advice will be spot on.
Use a clay bar, I'm sure that will take it off. Any kit like Mother's, Clay Magic, Meguier's at your local auto store should work I'd imagine.
If it can take off bugs, tar, paint and sap, I don't think chew spit should be a problem...

I had something similiar happen but it wasn't dip-spit. I used the Mother's clay bar and instant showroom spray that comes with the bar. It worked for me with my stubborn staines. I also had some road tar that was on the lower portion of the my door and it took it right off.

Somebody that spits on the side of your truck is no buddy. He's an inconsiderate ahole. I hope you get this fixed but I'd sure be letting him know what I thought of his filthy habits.

Im sure his buddy wasnt trying to spit on the side of his truck
Any one who chews, KNOWS when to spit out the window, and when not to. This yutz was probably drooling out the window as it was cruizin down the road at freeway speed. He knew what he was doing. He didnt care. Plain and simple.
