Re: scuffed glass

Griot's Garage sells a glass polish. But they market it for use in removing water spots so maybe it won't do what you are looking for. Maybe a regular rubbing compount could be used if the glass polish isn't aggessive enough?

Re: scuffed glass

NEED MORE DETAILS!!!!!

What do you mean scuffed?
What scuffed it?
Any pics?Close up?

We can't recomend a solution if we can't correctly diagnose the problem.

Re: scuffed glass

It's pretty cheap glass. I have about a 3" scratch or gouge in mine. Dont remeber what did it.
I thought only a diamond could scratch glass.
I look forward to your suggestions...

Re: scuffed glass

Sand will scratch glass too, If your window was sandy/muddy and you rolled it down thats most likely what caused it

Re: scuffed glass

Cheapness of the glass doesn't have anything to do with how hard it is.
Lots of things scratch glass including many rocks, carbide, tool steel, other glass.
Cleaner won't do anything, but clean it anyway.
I sincerely doubt you will be able to buff it out unless it is a very minor surface mark.
That filler wax junk for eyeglasses sounds like a good plan, but all that stuff really does is fill in the crack with clear stuff so it is harder to see.

As Skyboi said, Pics would be helpful.

I would only recommend these after I've seen the scuff marks in question.

1. How deep are they?
2. How many are there?
3. What made them?
4. Can they be filled?

Till these get answered...we're all just shooting blanks......
