Re: P21S Carnuba Wax is the BOMB!!!!! (PICS)

I use to detail cars when I was in college.

True Carnuba wax when opening the container appears to be dry but when you use the round spongy it should turn to a liquid form as you wipe. Applies on smoothly, and very easy, then wipes off like in the same manner.

Something most do not know is that Carnuba wax when applied 2 coats or more makes a darker, richer look. Really brings out the colors.

- I use HT-61 (Light Power Cut Leveler) for any fine scratches. Next best to using a buffer with light compound. Smooth Cut Polish
- I still have my Trade Secret Carnauba wax 8 ounce container that I use. Trade Secret Carnauba Wax

Those are some really good pics of the reflecting of the truck.

I've done my T a couple time with the Adam's stuff. Great products and also very easy to use. I hit mine with the revive polish before I applied the wax. Really made the shine come to life. Both the polish and the wax were super easy to apply and remove.

i use the menzerna products from properautocare.com. here is a link to their products. i really reduced the visibility of some of my deep scratches on the TITAN. the real test will be the black sequoia. when i get to it, ill post some before/after shots.

The buttery wax is a carnuba and polymer blend......so it's really not "just like" the P21S. That's why yours is half priced vs. the P21S.

I wanted a 100% carnuba and didnt mind paying what i paid for the results and ease of application.

Re: P21S Carnuba Wax is the BOMB!!!!! (PICS)

I've been using P21s for a while now, love how it makes the truck look.
My truck is a daily driver and is in the garage when I'm not using it. So, I wax mine twice a year, (early spring. Late summer) and that's it. last's for me, but mine is garaged though so that helps out a lot as far as longevity.

I bought the pre-wax cleaner, really did not like as much as the mothers pre-wax cleaner.

I apply P21s and actually don't let it dry, wipe it as soon as it's applied. This is a perferred method as directed on the container. Have a LOT of microfiber towels with you though as you will need them. My truck is a light color, seeing it on a darker color like roy365's would be awesome.

Nice job!

Nice job!
I did notice the smear effect after a two or three sections because of buildup on my microfibers. Soon as I switched to a new one it was ok.

I'm going to do a real nice detail soon. (pre-wax cleaner & claybar) I didn't want to break myself first if I didnt get the results from this wax I wanted.

Good to hear it lasts good enough for 2-3 times a year. I like to wax......but not much more than that if I'm not getting paid.

Re: P21S Carnuba Wax is the BOMB!!!!! (PICS)

Problem with that is the first time you do it, your like, amazed at how well it worked. Then the next time it just looks the same...awesome just as before. I clayed mine, mothers pre-wax cleaner next and finished off with P21s.
Took about 7 hours, but well worth the time.

Re: P21S Carnuba Wax is the BOMB!!!!! (PICS)

This wax is not 100% carnuba...no wax is. Carnuba in raw form is too hard to be applied. I currently use Zymol Concours. I will be buy some Dodo wax for spring application.

Actually I guess that one is a little different. I don't know what concours-look is, they don't really tell you the difference.

Re: P21S Carnuba Wax is the BOMB!!!!! (PICS)

Looks like it is Carnuba and Bees Wax. It's normally 33.99 on autogeek.com so an okay deal but not quite like the 100% carnuba.

Hey did you ever sell your wheels? I pointed a guy your way from North GA...
