I have spots on my all of my windows except the windshield. It looks like dried water spots, but no matter what I have used or how hard I scrub, they don't come off. Any suggestions on what will work to take these off?
Thanks,
Shawn

Brake Fluid... damp spot of brake fluid on a soft cloth... rub small circles over the glass but be careful to not hit the seals, and keep it off the paint... it works to also polish plastic headlamps and taillamps too... just make sure the cloth is damp, not soaked...

I've never heard of this technique....
Where did you hear of it and is it a reliable trusted source?
Since brake fluid is essentially a Triethylene glycol monobutyl ether....it can have a "solvent" action with plastics.
It is also a lubricant...so I'm thinking that it may not remove the spots but only mask them.....
Never tried this technique...not sure of the results members

Picked it up from an old school detailer... I don't know who came up with it or the "science" behind it, but it works... I watched him "restore" the glass and taillight lens on some yard trucks and was pretty impressed... I used the same method on my rear window since I had visible water spots on the tinted glass, and removed the hard water build up. Afterwards, I used TurtleWax Clear Vue glass cleaner and shined them up, crystal clear. It has been three months since then, and I am back to seeing visible water marks again, so when I get ready to do this again, I'll take some pics of before, during, and after...

Here you go again knocking someone else like you knocked Purple Power. You knowledge on chemicals sux. You also don't know what these chemical are or mean. You also posted some chemical BS about Purple power and said that it can't be used on a lot of things, contrary to what it says on the bottle. I even called you up on it and all you could say was lets not waste anyone's times. There has to be a certain amount of this stuff in a product to actually hurt something. Aspirin will kill you and so will Tylenol in high doses.
