The dealer said there's nothing wrong with it, they couldn't duplicate the squeak...they don't hear it, etc. Since I got it back the squeak is worse. My first question, is there a tensioner on the drive belt? Second, is there something I can spray on it or maybe clean it with...it's driving me crazy. Thanks.

I've read numerous complaints on here about windows shaking, rattling, etc. HOWEVER, I have not seen one solution on the problem, or how to fix it. I actually tried fixing it, by taking off the rear door panel off, the speaker to access the window, rolled the window up half way, and moved it about to see what was going on.

What it seems to be is the bracket holding on to the window that is on the rail and slides up and down, doesn't appear to sit snug on the rail, allowing the window to move around side by side, especially when you move it around by hand.

I think this is a bunch of crap, and from the way it looks, I don't see how the hell you can even fix it. How would anyone even replace the window, let alone that bracket holding onto the window, if they could. I hope I never get a broken window, cause I'd be screwed!!!!!!

Took it to the dealer, they cant figure out where the sound is coming from. Now its become a double clank during moderate acceleration. Does this sound like the rearend?

ok guys i know there are a dozen or so threads on power windows problems on here, but i cant find exactly what i need. ok so ive been having problems with my driver side front window. it started sticking when all the way down or all the way up but if you beat on the door panel enough it would eventually do what you needed it to do, but it is slowly deteriorating, now it will roll itself down without much problem but i have to stop it before going all the way down so that i can push it back up. the motor will help out some on the way up, but will not roll up without being pushed up by hand... ive already taken the door panel off and checked and cleaned all the guides and the tracks are not binding that i can see, the cables look good and are not fraying or rusting... so am i correct in the assumption that the motor is bad and needs replaced or is there anything i have overlooked.

Any input would be greatly appreciated

I have a 2004 KC SE 4x4 and I have the stock 17' off-road rims with BFGoodrich All-Terrain KO's I took it in the mud about a week and a half ago and had some fun, as I was heading home I noticed the alignment had been thrown off, which was no problem because I have the lifetime alignment at Firestone, and there was also vibration in the steering wheel that would peak at 45mph and then settle down and then get really bad on the highway from about 75mph and up. I got the alignment fixed and the truck drives straight but I still have vibration in the wheel almost immediately when I hit 45mph and the wheel jerks in and up and down direction and soon will calm down once I've hit 50mph. I've read other post and I had thought I had isolated the problem to just being the front driver side tire, I thought maybe there was just some uneven tread in the tire or a bulge in the tire itself but I didn't see any of that or at least what was visible so I swapped it out with my spare (BFG Rugged Trail a barely used tire) and the vibration calmed down a little but its still quite significant. I've got underneath the truck and blasted all the dirt and mud out and I'm still not sure as to why its doing this. Now I'm thinking maybe its the the bearings or the ball joints? I dunno, anyone think they know? Thanks.

I have a problem dealing with my climate control fan. When I get in the truck and start it up, I get no noise whatsoever coming from my fan. Whether I have it on heat, ac, or just the vent, my fan is inoperative. However once I get on down the road and the truck warms up, it will finally come on and work as normal till I stop and let it cool down again. It doesn't matter what speed I have it set on either because it just doesn't work. Sometimes with the truck being barely warm, I can turn the fan off and then on to hear the fan briefly work before shutting back off.

Has anyone else expereinced this? I haven't seen anything else when I searched but I might have missed something too.

Also, the secondary visor behind the primary sunvisor will not stay up. Driving yesterday and used the primary visor to shade the driver's window. When I moved it to the side the secondary visor fell down....could have caused an accident........ any suggestions... I looked for a way to tension the visor but no adjustments I could see.
Will appreciate any suggestions.

Alright so i just got my car back after i had my radiator, battery and IPDM replaced. I drove the car and it drove really really funny. IT would slip into the lower gear. Like if i came to a complete stop there was a jerk like i got rear ended. It felt like the drivetrain wasnt keeping up with the engine. When i would brake to about 5-25 mph and then get back on the gas it would rev up to like 3k-4k before engaging into gear. What could this possibly be? When i was under the car i saw this line they had to take off and put on the new radiator its in the bottom right hand corner and apparently when they took it off it shot some kind of red fluid (transmission?) at the passenger side suspension. Im thinking maybe when they topped off the fluid some air got caught or something. My car definetely doesnt drive right. What could it be?!

Hope thats not my case. I read the diff fluid for 08s+ is 75-140, but cant find what mine is?

Been reading a lot of posts lately about front end noises but haven't found anything that matches what I'm hearing. I don't have a leveling kit on my 04 cc with the OR package. After driving it for a month or two I noticed a clunk when going over bumps. I suspected the sway-bar "D" bushings or end links and checked them by disconnecting the end links (they were tight) and moving the sway bar by hand (pivoting it in the bushings) - it was tight - and then putting a jack under it and applying a little upward pressure - no dice - doesn't look like it's causing the noise.

Next I jacked up the front end and put a 4' pipe under the tire and lifted up to see if I could feel any movement on the balljoints - nothing. I grabbed the tires at 12 and 6 o'clock and shook them by hand - nothing. Then I jacked each front tire up by the lower a-arm to take the pressure off the upper balljoint - no movement either side. It's possible I'm not able to put pressure on or get pressure off the right spot to make this thing show it's ugly head. I went ahead and put 1/4 turn on each of the body mount bolts for the cab while I was under there - they seemed plenty tight. Also checked the coil buckets for contact - just in case - nothing there either.

I'm at a loss. Next thing I can think to do is pull the struts, rotors and hubs to really take the pressure off the ball joints and see if I can find anything loose with no load on it.

Anyone been down this road? It's not a horrible clunk - but it's there and once you KNOW it's there you ALWAYS notice it. Just one of those things - I'd love to see the offending part in my trash can soon.

Now, I had to take off my faceplate to repair the hazard and passenger airbag light. (i ripped off the faceplate and broke them, but that's another story)

Anyways, I'm looking inside with all the plugs, I'm counting 5 plugs, but only 4 possible plugs from the faceplate and the A/C controls.

I don't know, what the other one is for. Can anyone name all the plugs, maybe I could figure it out that way. thanks
