Bradenton Motorsports Park 11/18?

What's up SW FL? I was looking at the schedule for the Bradenton drag strip and this upcoming Sunday 11/18 is a test and tune, fun run day. I plan on going, along with my buddy, who is bringing his Lotus Elise. We both have never been to the track.

Any TT guys down for this? The fun starts at 9 and runs til 5.

I'll just be arriving from my move from Mass. So needless to say I won't be able to attend. have fun guys. It's just a blast to hang and run and watch. Make sure you take some vids.

Oh, and if you don't have tru trac, just drive through the middle at the staging area to avoid the water box. No need to even try to heat up your tire/s. You will just need to avoid the water, line up, and try to feather into the throttle a bit until you can stick.

Thanks man! Honestly my main concern in heading down there was being able to avoid the water box! I've already accepted the fact that I'll be b*tching about not having tru trac all the way home... good selling point to the ole lady!

I just wanted to get some times from before and after I re-do my exhaust (headers, b pipes, y pipe and muffler) so I can provide some concrete numbers for TT! Also a great place to practice my non trutrac launch lol, since I can't simply just mash it!

Grudge Racing and Fun Runs. Anyone can come out and run on the 1/4 mile dragstrip with their car, truck or motorcycle or just hang out and watch the show!

Glad you're gonna make it Chris. I'm meeting my buddy with the Lotus along with another guy with a super quick M5 and we are all rolling down there together, maybe you can join the convoy!

Alright boys, it's official. Orlando Speedworld is going away. At least it appears that way on their 2012 schedule. I'll be running with you guys, and gainseville next year. It's probably going to have to be on Funday Sundays too, unless I get off early on whatever day they do their weekday runs which is possible in my slow season.

It's in the morning this time so i don't think the humidity will be as bad as the last few times we've gone. When we run at night right now the humidity raises just as fast as the temp drops... That's Florida for ya though! LOL

I re-calculated the DA for my 13.92 @ 96.68 run from last time. Before i was just guessing it that it was around 800, but after i actually entered in all the track info & weather data it ended up being 1077.

Which corrected to 13.767 @ 97.751

Beachside, i think you will be running 14's!

Hey you guys think it would make a difference if i took off my tailpipe section of my exhaust & just run it open after the XR1?

Last time i ran with it all together. Just looking for any little thing i can do!
