It occured to me that a lot of people come to Titantalk.com looking for information that will help them decide whether to buy a Titan or not. Also, for those of us who have already taken the plunge a little feedback about your dealer experience can help with our future truck buys and service.
So, how about telling the world the name of your dealer, and your salesperson if you want, and feel free to coment on anything you feel needs to be said.
Then, rate your dealer 1 - 10. 1 being purely awful -- 10 being perfect.
I bought my Titan from West Palm Nissan. My sales person was Don ?. I bought my Truck via the Internet so I only met the salesman for about 10 minutes.
I've had my truck since the 6th of December so I haven't had much contact with the dealer so far. Based on the deal they gave me and their efficiency so far I'd rate them at 7. The real test will come when it comes time for service. But, so far, so good.

I live in Panama CIty but bought my Titan at Sutherlin Nissan Mall of Georgia. The dealership here just couldn't compare to the prices in Atlanta. I got my 04 SE with everything for 25,000 even. The only thing it doesn't have is leather, DVD and Navi. That being said I would rate them at about an 8 (this is my second Nissan from them).
Here in Panama I do take mine to LLoyd Nissan for all maintenence and thier service department is incredible. Every time that I go in they do wahtever they have to make sure that I leave feeling as though they did there best, for that I rate them at a 9. I have had mine since Nov 04 and she had a born on date of 08/04. The only problems that I have had is the seat thread tearing(took care of myself) and the temp gauge in the mirror was off by about 15 degrees(they reset it). I love my Titan!!

Sales person a 4 Service an 8 . My truck 2005 SE Red had scratches on on top of cab door and hood. They buffed and repainted the affected areas and took care of me. It was a major inconvenience not having my truck for a few days. Though they did lend me a loaner car.
I Purchased My Titan From Crown Nissan In St. Pete. I Have Purchased Several New Vehicles In The Past And I Can Tell You With Full Confidence, This Was One Of The Most Pleasant Experiances I Have Ever Had When Buying A New Vehicle, I Dealt With Mr. Terry Hawkins And Ms. Jean Batman, You May Not Beleive This But It Was Like Leaving Home With Mr. Hawkins, Ms. Pat Batman And Two Fellows That Made My Truck Shine Like A New Quarter Waving Goodbuy As I Drove Off The Property. I Would Suggest Very Highly You Talk To These People Before Purchasing Your Titan Anywhere Else.
I got mine from Autoway nissan in clearwater after dealing with the rats at Bill Ray in Orlando for about 2 months. I went to Bill Ray in octobor 03 before the Titan had come out and met with a salesman who called me when they got a test Titan. I drove it, liked it and talked him down from 32 to 28 thousand which i was very happy with since the trucks wern't even on the lot yet. I placed an order from the factory and was supposed to have it by Dec. 12th 03. After 3 push backs on the date and several promises of getting any truck in the southeast that fitted my order i started searching inventorys of dealerships within a 2 hour drive and found exactly what i had wanted at Autoway Nissan in Clearwater. I called the guy up and and within 15 mins he agreed to the same price i had at the first dealer and told me i could pick it up the next day. I called Bill Ray and told them thanks for there time but i found it somewhere else and would need my depost that i had put down in mid-november back, which was of course refused from the salesman and his manager so i just called Discover and got it back a month later. All in all I was dissapointed with Bill Ray and there tricks, im not sure if they decided i talked them down to low or maybe because i was only 24 but i will never do business with them again.
Ferman Nissan here in Tampa has been great. Whenever I went to them they took care of my truck promptly. They are the opposite of Nissan USA. If I had to deal with them on a regular basis, I would sell my truck in a sec.All I got from them was the runaround. Have had my Titan for a year (18,000 mi) and love it. Put on the K&N cold air intake system and Flowmaster series 70 exhaust. Will be installing my PRG front end leveling kit next week.
I purchased mine from Firkins Nissan in Bradenton. I was there getting service on my Frontier looking at the Titans to pass the time. Later that day I drove the Titan home. They did everything right to make the deal. According to Edmond's I received a higher trade in then they were to sell it for, plus the marked the truck down to lower then Edmond's said I should get it for.
Ever since I left Gettel Nissan in Sarasota I have never looked back. I purchased three Nissans from Gettel and I will ride a bicycle before I purchase from them again. Gettel's service charged me twice for the same service without checking with me or the computer to see that I had already had it done the last time I was there. The service manager said he was sorry, but the work was done and I would have to pay for it to get my truck back.
They beat everyones price on my LE, but they were regular car salesman ****s! Trying to jew you every step of the way and slide underhanded **** in the deal, play with interest rates, what scheme they could think of. Wanted to kick their *** multiple times. Dont buy there............
I get my service done at Hill Nissan in Winter Haven Florida and they seem ok, the parts guy is real cool though and will bend over backwards to get you stuff. He is the one who makes that place.

I purchased my 2005 SE Crew "Red Alert" at Coggin Nissan on Atlantic Bloulevard in Jacksonville. Overall, I would rate the service I have received as superior.
Initially I was skeptical as we had other appointments and really wanted to think about our purchase decision and the offers on the table. At first they were trying hard to drive the sale, and we ended up meeting each person " up the food chain."
When they sensed that we may walk and not come back, they backed down a bit and presented us with a good deal and let us have the time we needed to make our appointments and to think about our buying decision.
When we we returned, we were welcomed promptly and warmly. We had to set a time to have the hitch installed and, when my wife took it in, the service staff were very friendly and courteous, and we were provided with a rental car for the duration of the installation (turnaround about 24 hrs later).
T J Bernal was our salesman - very friendly and enthusiastic. Tell him Michael Dubyak sent you if he should ask (they say they will give me $100 for each referral so let's see if they stick to their word - not to mention if you do and they pay me, I will cut ya in for $25! ).

I guess I should have contributed to the thread earlier, but I just ran across it today. I bought my truck back in December from Fisher Nissan in Titusville. I live in Gainesville but the drive to Fisher was well worth it. John Meredith was the salesman I dealt with. We made the deal via the internet and he offered to drive the truck up to me, but I really wanted to take a trip to the beach so I went to them. The experience was a real good one in general, but I am still waiting on a mud guard that I was promised would be shipped to me. I'm guessing that being so far from the dealership is the problem. I imagine if I showed up one afternoon John would get the guard for me while I was there.
I live in Gainesville and chose to go to Titusville because of the deceptive sales practices of Gainesville Nissan. They did every sleazy new car dealer trick in the book including agreeing to one price then when I came in to take delivery and sign the paperwork suddenly "discovering" that there had been miscommunication about the options included in the deal. They tried to jack up the agreed upon price by $600 and when I wouldn't budge they played the "make them wait in the showroom while we try to convince the owner to take this horrible deal" game. We walked out after 45 minutes of that game and closed the deal with John two days later. We ended up with a better truck (more options) for a touch less money although not in my first choice of colors and didn't have to play any games at all.
/I haven't had to take the truck in for service yet so I can't comment on the service dept./ I needed service finally and gave Gainesville Nissan a chance. The service dept is just as difficult to deal with as the sales dept. The full description of the problem I had is here: http://www.titantalk.com/forums/show...803#post272803
Bottom line avoid Gainesville Nissan at all costs.

LLyod is great as far as service is concerned. Give 'ema 10 there. I like it when you can go ito the service dept and they know you and your truck. I bought my Xterra from them as well, which got traded for the Titan, and mom also bought her Xterra from them. As far as price, I got mine for invoice. So can't complain too much.
