Truck Options re: Leer Hard Tonneau

I ordered my Leer 700 Series Hard Tonneau about 3 1/2 weeks ago through Truck Options Superstoreat 5565 University Blvd in Jacksonville. Through no fault of their own, it should have been here within 2 weeks but Leer (which is in PA for those who do not know) had some issues due to snow and back-orders and it was delayed an extra week.

My kudos to Truck Options for squeezing me in when they could and being very courteous. I will go back to them for other accessories as needed.

By the way, the Leer looks fantastic! I was considering an ARE but the Leer 700 is solid and a little more streamline and follows the tailgate contours perfectly. The A20 color match to my Red Alert body was dead-on as well.. thanks Leer!

I should have a pic or two soon. Maybe I'll take a few today, although it is overcast and the big red machine needs a major wax.

These aren't the best as I am using an old digital cam but they will have to do for now.

That looks real nice Draco. Does that tonneau fit pretty snug over the plastic side rail caps? Does it decrease your visual beyond the tailgate?

It fits pretty snug over the rail caps. The tonneau does decrease to some degree your rear field of view. I don't think there is any way to avoid that except to go with a soft cover or one of the aluminum flat covers or the roll-up ABS.

I thought Leer was made in Indiana? maybe 2 plants?? I haven't decided yet like the Leer but also like the ARE . Cap dealer sells both but is pushing the ARE say's it fits better. ARE is about 30 bucks cheeper
