I just found out that my cousin is getting married on the 2nd in Gainesville so you can count me in for sure!! Worked out better than I thought it would... I told my wife about it earlier and she couldn't beleive I was going to take my truck into the ONF. I can't wait. I will bring a tow rope so one of you 4x4's can tow me out if I get stuck somewhere... Lets get dirty!!!!

Cable has been out for a few days...As I said I live right in Ocala but have only done the quad thing...nothing large enough for trucks. I'll burn up the net and try and find something out there. Also check out ATVFlorida.com, the forums there usually have a thread or two about truck/ATV trails and pits etc etc. Wal-Mart in Silver Springs sounds like a perfect meeting place as it's just a few mins from the Forest. Don't count on me to know exactly where to go but I'll bring the GPS and anything I find on the net.

Gonna be a blast.

Sounds good. Yeah, I don't think we'll have a problem finding places to romp through. Several who have posted here and who are going to show up are familiar with the area. I figure Big Scrub is worth checking out too. But, anything you find out about just let us know.

Also, I'm probably going to create a new thread during the last week before we meet just to give a final shout out of the date and meeting location.

We'd be more than happy to have you with us! I'm going to make an "Ocala-Shout Out" thread the week of the trip to finalize our meeting plans and get a final head count, etc.

Does anyone know how far our meeting place would be from highway 19, particularly the Rice Creek Bridge, Cross Florida Barge Canal, and the Oclawaha Bridge??

Silver Springs is about 20 miles+- from Highway 19 and it's a straight shot down Highway 40. Real easy drive.

Man, I'm really looking forward to this, guys! YOU HAVE NO IDEA, lol.

I spoke with someone over the phone at the welcome center down there this morning. Seems the best places for us are gonna be Big Scrub (the south/forrest part) and Lake Delancy (to the west and north). I've got directions, but I'm sure several of you will already know how to get there. Looking forward to tearin' up some trails and whatever else we find!!!

Again just as a reminder since this thread is getting cluttered, I'll start a final shout out thread for the meet in a few days.
