Classic Nissan - Orlando, FL

Well after dealing with a great sales guy and a $HITTY finance guy at REED Nissan I doubt I'll do business with them ever.

Anyways, recently I noticed that I have had the infamous "brake judder" starting on my titan. So after so easily talking a co-worker out of a Tundra and into a Titan, we went up to the stealership to view a truck they had quoted him online for $18k. Once we arrive, there sales man was so quick to shift him away to another truck....$5k more..bait n switch as supposedly they didn’t even have the truck they quoted him from edmunds.

Another note, while I was there I scheduled a time for me to come in and have this brake judder fixed along with a few other issues and an outstanding recall (BCM Harness?)

Well I arrived this morning (a week later) and dropped it off 5 min before my schedule. Waiting patiently 915 rolled around before I was helped. Talked to one of the mechanics in the dept about hooking me up with the +2 Timing (he had no clue but was extremely nice and professional and said he would look more into it).

So I gathered my paperwork and was told it would be ready ~5-5:30ish at the latest. Come to find out, they didn’t have the brakes in stock....no big deal, but to hear that they didn't even diagnose my truck at all is what pissed me off. 9 Hours at the dealership and nothing was done!

I maintained my cool as I have worked retail and know how angry customers usually get no where along with crap service. The service tech admitted fault and apologized. I rescheduled for monday, and they are going to give me a loaner this go around.

I'll post back my experiences....but right now they are about a 6 out of 10.

Re: Classic Nissan - Orlando, FL

I used to deal with Classic all the time for my Z parts and they were ok but always seemed to have issues with their service department. I bought my truck at Reed and it went very smoothly but I was also, here is what I will pay take it or leave it deal, the finance guy I dealt with was pretty good , probably because I just wrote a check for the truck from my bank and it was a cut and dry deal. I have used Norman brothers on 17-92 and have had great results for service and help with my truck with brake jutter and squeek issues. So far very happy with them, I find once they know you know the issues and TSB 's on the truck they seem to treat you better and not like the normal guy who says my car is making a funny noise kinda thing lol.

Throw the name Tom Hogan around, he's half owner . They change
their tune or mention you spoke to tommy the general manager.
Good luck.

p.s. next time you go there only deal with eric. He is the internet
sales manager and a good guy. If you tell him shawn sent you
he will probably $hit. This summer alone I had returned 2
vehicles because of mechanical problems, they love me there.

oops- sorry talking about reed.

Re: Classic Nissan - Orlando, FL

I bought my truck at Reed. the sales guy was great until I went back 3 months later wanting to swap in my wifes van for a Altima 3.5. The $icks only wanted to give me $9000 for a 2005 loaded Town and Country with 15K miles. I told him to pound sand in the crack of his a$$.

Reeds service department sucks!! I waited 5 hours for them to fix my console on the second trip only to learn they ordered the wrong part again. I made them fill my gas tank on that trip andon the trip back for the actual repair.

Re: Classic Nissan - Orlando, FL

good grief, how the heck does REED stay in buisness. They lost my deal over $70 (total) the guy flat out told me with an arrogant look...."Its only $4 a month".

I replied with " are you going to send me a check every month for $4 for the remainder of my lease!" I stood up and walked out and said I wont be back here again......sales guy look worried and said whats wrong....i said your finance man just fooked you outta that deal.
