Classic Nissan - Orlando, FL = GARBAGE!

Holy cow, as calmly as I can state this...they are by far the worst dealership I have been to...(yes worse than Reed).

First off, lets go back to about 6 weeks ago. I stop by talk to a service guy and explain my problems (faulty ATP sensor and oil pressure gauge). He also brings up a recall on my truck so I schedule and appointment and am on my way.

I show up 2 days later and am told that it would be ready by the end of business and they would call me. Wellllll come to find out they never ordered the parts. Heck they didnt even "diagnose" the problems. So they assure me that they will have to done by the next morning. I vouch to reschedule and let them keep it for a few days assuming they will give me a rental in its place. "Sure no problem".

Well after playing phone tag with the service tech I finally get in touch with him and we set up an appointment. Guess what! they didnt get all the parts in. My question was....why even service the truck wait until everything arrives. "my apologies sir, we will get this done ASAP". Well two weeks later I call for an update....3 more days......5 more days.....finally I get a call back. "Yes I recall you situation, but I dont have a record of it. I will get back to you about this as soon as i can figure this glitch out"......a week later no call.

I call again and again and again and again and again...leaving several messages. Finally I call the main line and ask for anyone in the dept. I just so happen to get the service manager. Wellllllllllllllllllllllllllll i was very polite and understanding as I understand things can get mixed up. He assures me he is personally going to look into this issue and find a resolution and contact me.

Heck lets wait about 4 business days. He calls back and asks what the TSB for the 4LO/ATP Blinking is. Cutting more BS....I have made numerous additional calls with no resolution.

I wonder what my boss would react if a customer called me in regard to server connectivity or a hacking incident and I asked them for the instructions on how to resolve/fix the incident.

Also one last thing, is I think I am f-ed now as my truck has ~40k miles ( 4k past the warranty) so if I go to another dealership they are going to say too bad soo sad.

Re: Classic Nissan - Orlando, FL = GARBAGE!

Classic sucks muddy water. I had a appt at Lake Nissan for my leaky trany line. Well theyhad to order the parts, thats cool. The parts come in and the service dink called me and I made the appt for a Saturday and made it very clear that I had to have my truck done by the end of the day Ince I was leaving Sunday for Georgia. I get there and he asked when I Monday was going to pick it up. I said what. Oh it's a 6 hour job and the techs only work 4hrs and they are all ready backed up. I bypassed him, his manager and went straight to the dealership manager on duty. They had it fixed in 3 hours.

Classic never has had a good reputation, as long as you ask enough people that know that is.

Re: Classic Nissan - Orlando, FL = GARBAGE!

I should be getting a call from Lake Nissan tomorrow. My right side tires have been getting eat up on the outside tread since about 10,000 miles. They said it wasn't covered and I have documentation. I asked them to look at it again when I had my radiator replaced and they wouldn't, I have documentation. All the while I have had it down to a custom alignment shop and they said they can't get anymore alignment out of it, there two different machines say it is dead on and I need to see the dealer. Well at 26000 miles and my two right tires just about shot I called Nissan USA today. I spoke with a man on teh phone that put right through to his supervisor they are calling lake Nissan to get my alignment right and replace two tires. Just had the other two tires replaced under road hazard. Crapy stock tires but for free I won't complain.

Re: Classic Nissan - Orlando, FL = GARBAGE!

Well more than 2 months after my visit to classic, I called Nissan USA. Needless to say I stated everything mentioned above and I should be getting a call back from the Regional Hot Shot or the Service Manager himself.

We shall see what happens.

Re: Classic Nissan - Orlando, FL = GARBAGE!

Truck was dropped off this morning. They gave me a crew cab dodge to drive around (non-negotiable neon last time) free of charge.

Looks like the rep said something to them as everything just so happened to be resolved in less than 4 business days. Called Wed rep called me back Friday (he had trouble getting a hold of them). Scheduled Monday for this morning. Amazing....WHY COULDN'T THEY DO THIS 2 MONTHS AGO!

Re: Classic Nissan - Orlando, FL = GARBAGE!

i have also had many many problems with classic. they are the worst!! the gen manager scott obrien is the worst which is part of the problem there. i took my truck there 4 times to be fixed and finally i told them they need to order new parts and scott obrien refused he knew my warranty was almost up and he told me he hoped it ran out before i could get my truck fixed. i called the 1-800 nisssan1 and was lucky they set me up with another dealer to fix my truck and when i took it to them the first thing they said was they need to order parts for my truck, which classic refused to do. my wife took her car to classic to have a back windshield wiper put on and classic "forgot" to put the black cap part back on. they are by far the worst and i would never have them work on my car or any one else i know.
