with all stuff around OT I'm surprised people in that area don't chime in with stuff to do. There's gotta be parks where you could BBQ or some fun activities.
there's Red Bug Lake Park by my house with a nice place to BBQ and it has lots of parking perfect for a big meet

Patrick, would our NC brothers be interested in a meet like this? Say like in Feb/March.... Tell the whores to chime in!

I live across the street from it so I can go take a few pics of the parking and the cookout area and you can tell me what you think. I thought of it because it's easy to get to just a little ways from the 417.

You live right across from Red Bug Park?? Man thats my stomping grounds LOL...Lots of kills on Red Bug Road....Now that you mention it, I think I've seen you driving right in that exact area....There is Fort Christmas park near me and Lake Mills park...I haven't been to Lake Mills in forever, but I just went to Fort Christmas park not too long ago..its a big park with a big Fort you can walk through, lots of woods, lots of tables and Cabana type things

Yeah I think I've seen you once on red bug on a sat morning but that was a few months ago, I might have even still had black wheels on the T back then. same here with the kills, red bug is the perfect street racing spot just a long straight road, Fort Christmas and Lake Mills parks are nice places too, the only reason I said Red Bug was just because of how easy it would be for people to get too and I'll have pics of it up tommrow.

LOL, yeah it was a few months ago. Red Bug would be easier to find, plus Red Bug has a Basketball court in case anyone wants to play, although I suck...I think either park would be good...Maybe we should both get some pics of the respective parks
I don't see why not. The meet we had in NC was at a park and Jager BBQ'd up some good food.
Most of those whores who would chime in are swamped right now. They havent chatted much on here lately. I'll send them a message to check it out
Well, you guys know this group is "different" than the other sites group LOL. Im still bummed I missed the NC meet, but it wont happen next time LOL! Yeah tell them to give some input on this one, we would love to have you guys!

Sweet! This is not a "Im gonna pick everything and run the show" kind of meet. Thats not how we Florida Boyz do it. I do a lot of the foot work but as far as what/where we go/do thats up to us as a whole bro...We ARE the meets LOL look at the daytona meet 40 trucks! We are the envy of all other states when it comes to meets. Youve never met the NC boys the "Whores"...they are the only others that we try to make sure we accomadate because they are like Florida Boyz from another mother LOL!

That would be cool to have something like that Fort to go through as something to do and break up the down time at the meet.
IMO its important that we have something intertaining to keep those of us who are ADD busy instead of just sitting around doing nothing. As far as the parks get gary and paul involved also and yall figure out a good one and lets see where we go from there. I think they mentioned Mount Dora...I think it was
ya that sounds asome, my buddies had a poker run on the bmw forums, its fun.
how it usually works is all the cars meet in the morning at one spot and get broken down into teems is im not mistaking and they let them out the parking lot 5-10 at a time only so there no accedents getting to the next location to get ur first card, its like playing poker but everytime to go to a location you get a card to add to ur hand and at the end the best hand out of everyteam wins something in our case it could be a prize coming from our sponsers. thats a basic idea of that the bmw poker run was fun, they had to stop at bmw shops and what not if we have one we can find lift shops and wat not i guess im sure other guys know more about it and will chime in, and a bbq isnt a bad idea as well.
I kinda liked the track meet idea with a BBQ afterwards. We'll have to pick an "alcohol friendly" park to hold a proper BBQ though...
Maybe the off-roaders can get together and get muddy nearby and we can all do a BBQ afterwards. We should have some mud around here somewhere...
And there is plenty of other stuff to do if you don't want to race or get dirty...
Let's party!

Hey bud, glad to see you chime in on this. The track idea is good but the only time we can do it at the orlando track is friday night....they wont let us do it on Saturday. Thats what I got from their website. If you guys want to contact them go for it, a friday night cruise at OT and a Sat track meet would be fun!
