Man, racing your buddies is fun, even if you aren't doing it for "sport" LOL, I promise...But I 100% u8nderstand everyone not wanting to race....There is a big enough parking lot to set up tents and grills though...other people do it all the time....I will say it is fun though. Carl, I want to see you run your truck
That day is coming soon. Would like a few more mods first, don't wanna get beat up on too bad.
Come on! Steve talked me into it with only an intake and muffler swap. I knew I was gonna get smoked but it was fun anyway AND I got a baseline to compare with all the money I've spent since then...

For the Saturday Picnic,
I can rent a screened-in pavilion with two large grills at the private Disney employee lake about 5 minutes from OT - fairly secluded, great view, pool if it's open, paddle boats, volleyball, tennis, basketball, and soccer areas all available. There is a max capacity of 50 people and they will let me have up to 49 non-employees as guests (but my wife would come so make it 48). We bring/cook our own food and we can have music and alcohol (prerequisite!). This would be a great choice if attendance stays low enough. I'd take care of the rental.
I can also rent a slightly larger indoor area with a max capacity of 70. You have to use their approved catering service (there's only one...) to have food or drinks (and chairs and tables and such) in this one and that will cost a little money. Ok, probably a lot...
I can bring my PA system for music wherever we end up if needed and my living-room band is willing to show up and play and let folks sit in if anybody is feeling so inclined.
Just some more options...
