I know international made the old power stroke I think 02 was last year of prod. The new ford is made by ford as far as I know. But I do know dodge has never made a v-8 Diesel always been made by cummins as far as I know also. I think some one early in this thread said the dodge was v-8?? Only make six banger that I know of as I stated? I could be wrong on all this please feel free to correct me! Don't want to be posting no mis-info on here. Would be nice to see a Hemi Titan? Last word was that the dodge deal is a no go?The ford is a V-8. The 03 was the last year for the 7.3 with mid year change to the 6.0 twin turbo ford made. I think 96 was the first year ford added turbo to the 7.3 but it was just a single turbo. Too much talk about Furds for me on Titan Talk forum! Just come from along line of dodge / furd diesel folks with several still employed at the Buffalo furd stamping plant and several that have since re-tired,

the cummins makes more tourqe than a v8 does. it would be nice to get a v8 made by cummins that would make more power and tourqe with better mileage, but that 6 banger makes decent mileage. i think a 4 door titan dualy long bed for pulling would be hella sweet, if they make it, im pushing my company to buy it.

A close friend of mine has a banks on his 2500 ram and pulls a 23' pontoon to the beach (oak island) and averages almost 19mpg while towing. The thing red lines at 3k and tach runs out at 4k. Power is amazing I had to drive it back from Jordan Lake, N.C. after a late night of bass, crapie fishing last week and it surprised me how much torque it made at such low rpm. On that short trip his comp mpg hit 16.7. But that was stop and go and my first time driving it. Still great milage.
That would be amazing if it was an HD Titan in testing. I'd certainly go for that.
A question:
If they were testing something like this out, would they test it in Michigan, as what the license plate says?
I would figure they would keep it around Canton, MS. Not sure, hopefully someone can chime in. If it was a Dodge, it makes some sense that its in Detroit, Michigan.
Anyways, all I hope is that Nissan one-ups Toyota.
