Hello from Chicago

All those in the area, chime in so that we can determine if a get together is worth working on. So far I only have 4 or 5 people in the area willing to step up and say that they want to meet other Titan owners in the area.

Another NW Indiana (Munster) Titan owner here.

As a get together we could invade an old time drive-in like Dukes on south Harlem Ave.

Saw you on El Dorado today on my way home from work. I like the C/C and the 18" wheels. Looks nice!

Hey you guys, lemme introduce myself, my name is Xander and Im from the Carol Stream area, for those that don't know, its in Dupage County next to Bloomingdale and Glendale Hts. I currently own a 1997 Nissan Maxima. For those that might ask what is a Maxima owner doing on this site, well I was first searching for other Nissan sites to join and post on since I love Nissan's so much, and I came upon this site. I lurked around for about a week before I decided to join. I probably won't be owning a Titan anytime soon, but maybe in the future I will. Although I did grow up with my dad's old 1983 Nissan truck (may it RIP) so I am familar with Nissan trucks. I have Nissan blood in me, cuz my mom owned a 1984 Nissan sentra (also RIP).

Another reason why I decided to join, because in the past we had large Nissan meets in the Chicagoland area, the only problem is that I have yet to see any type of Nissan truck or Suv come by the meets. I practically seen every USDM Nissan/Datsun, after 1975, come by the meets except for the trucks. Some of these meets/BBQ's had 75+ cars strong. So I hope by me joining this site maybe some of you might join us on our Nissan meets so instead of having 75 strong mabye we can make that 100. We have Nissan's/Infiniti's/Datsun's show up from all over the Illinois area plus WI, IN, and MI. The next Nissan meet will be at the track at Great Lakes Dragway on April 9th, the majority of Nissans that will be showing up are Maxima's since it originated from maxima.org. Its $12 to run or watch since its opening week, but thereafter its $25. Track opens at 10am I should be there around 950ish. Maybe Ill get to see some of you there. For more info on directions or the track itself, especially weather conditions checkout Great Lakes Dragway

Xander

We had 3 Titans at a Nissan Z car meet in St Charles last spring. I am working on a Titan meet in the area with a dealer now. The only problem is trying to find the time to meet and work on the details with my work schedule.
