windshield wiper problem

One month ago I purchased a 2004 Titan king cab. It had 28,00 miles and is in mint condition. I love this truck, the only problem I've noticed. When the wipers start downward there is a "wap" sound. The dealer replaced the wiper blades with new ones, seem to help some. Has anyone else had this problem? By the way I'm a new member.

I recommend Ted Nugents Greatest Hits. For some reason I have no explanation for, that CD seems to fix all the weird and bothersome noises my truck makes.

Does it make a "paw" sound on the way up?

Perhaps your wipers are hitting the moulding or something? Are they in the correct position at rest? See L1 & L2 at WW-32 in the service manual.

Re: windshield wiper problem

My truck does the same thing. I replaced the wipers and it still did it. Try cleaning the windshield and applying some Rain-X. That seemed to work for me. But the noise does return when the windshield gets dirty again or gets bugs on it.
