Madison WI Meet?

Anyone interested in a Madison WI meet in May sometime? I'm thinking maybe the second saturday, May 10th. Do some cruising, get some beers - whatever.

With the way this winter has gone. do not make that promise.

That said, I might be interested but I have to check with the other half to make sure we don't have anything planned for that weekend.

I honestly picked that date out of thin air - if that weekend doesn't work out for ya shoot a date out that will. My only non dates are April 23 through May 5th (getting married) and June 7th/8th (local wedding reception).

Btw I just noticed that the weekend I proposed is also Mothers Day weekend so that may not work out.

If you want to do something in Madison, shoot for August 9, 2008 for the Great Taste of the Midwest Beer Festival at Olin Park. Last year there were over 100 brewers and 500 beers available to taste,. All you can drink for $35.00 in an outdoor setting next to the lake overlooking downtown Madison.

Sounds like a good time though - my sister lives down there and I believe she's been to that a couple of times.

Yeah, it is a good time. Do a Saturday night cruise and hang out on terrace for some beer, then head out to the Sunday beer festival. A dunk in the lake to sober up and all is good.

Timmyo2L where you from in our great cheese state? And sorry - mess on a drive in movie, I'd rather spend the night cruising the strip in the Dells knocking off ricebois than sitting at a movie.
