This is a good catch we had late last year on some normal amberjack.

Walleye! I take several trips around MN, SD and Canada every year (boat listed below). Best trip this year was the annual trip with my family and my parents to the Park Rapids area of MN. Dad caught a 26" 'eye. He's been wearing out the picture back home. (I got skunked but who cares.)
It's August now and I'm working on sharpening up the archery skills for the MN deer opener next month, but I've got time for one more fishing trip to Vermillion Bay, Ontario.
Oh, the Titan tows like a dream.

Mike H., it would take me a year to catch that many bass (lol). Sammy, I come through your area a few times a year going to see my grandson in Blakely, GA. I stopped at the Nissan dealership there and looked before I bought my Titan.
Hey Nuck, do you ever get to any of the Bass classics in B'ham? I've been several times. I mainly fish fresh water for bass, bream and then brackish water for sheephead and flounder. Good selection here.

Here in Louisiana we "fish" for and eat all kinds of things. I have trapped crawfish, gigged bullfrogs, hunted alligator, as well as fished for the regular stuff such as bass, bream, and catfish.

Gigging frogs in the bayous by hand at night is the funnest. They are good to eat and warding off the occasional water moccasin and alligator at night in a small, one man pirogue adds to the excitement.

Crawfish are the best thing to eat in the world and I could eat them and nothing else. Some people suck the guts out of the crawfish head and eat that too. One of my favorite festivals is the Crawfish Festival in Breaux Bridge, Louisiana.

I bet fish and game would love to inspect that stringer! I grew up on Lake Conway and have slaughtered quite a few bass in my time. Before Disney we used to fish Lake Wilson. Now its in the middle of the park. I caught a 16 pounder there in 1970. Fresh water is too much of a pain with access to the ramps. Lately it's been snook fever at Sebastian. Back in the early 70s we used to catch so many trout we had to ice them down in the pickup bed because there weren't coolers big enough.

No. That was back in late '80s when 10/person was the limit, and no length limits. There were 2 of us that morning. Stringers like this are why they tightened the limits. We actually did that regularly for one summer. Location was Shad Creek (between Salt and Loughman lakes near Titusville). No longer like that.

My best was a 9.5 LB, 27" from South Lake in Titusville.

Fishing is my favorite pastime, if I could I'd go every day. Having grown up spending my summers in Maine I was strictly into saltwater fishing for mackerel, blues, and stripers. Over the years I've come to love freshwater fishing, there are ponds, rivers and lakes all over New Hampshire....my favorite lure is a weedless frog. I look for areas of pond scum, weeds and lilypads to drag it through, when the largemouth hit it it's like a rat trap being sprung! I'm heading up to a lake in Maine next weekend, a friend of mine has a place right on the water, all I have to do is step out the backdoor and cast. I can't wait.

I thought the pic I posted was a pretty good catch.

I will look for more pics from seasons past.

This season we went ten for ten Sails on my best non tournament day. key to a good team is full season dedication & I came up short.

I'm headed south of the border later this month fishing. The Yellowtail & Long Fin bite is great this year after the El Nino with a few Dorado showing. I'll post some pics after the trip.
