I've been waiting for a buck, but I have this weekend and 1 in January left to hunt, I have now come to the point that if it has a whitetail and 4 legs, it's getting shot at.

I hear ya to the OP, how bad was your adrenaline?? I must admit my first bow kill was a doe as well and it was way more exciting than any buck I have killed with the rifle. Must be the up close and personal aspect of it I guess.

the blood trail was spotty cause it was blowing out of a hole. i would have piles of blood, then barely any spots. it took me about 30-45mins to track her 80yrds or so.
Congrats Lifted! It is a hell of an accomplishment killing a deer with a bow, not to mention having them that close to you and being able to draw and kill. Your hooked now.
