Re: Took Titan Hunting

Bombardier makes Sea Doos, that is what keeps popping up on the dealer locator. The nearest ATV dealer is in Springfeild MO. Actually that is more like 250 to 300 miles. The first one listed does not exsist any more. The second I called and was told they do not sell the ATV just Sea-Doo. The third has not responded to my emails. Funny side note while searching for ATVs. John Deere makes them now and they have the same engine and AWD system the bombardier does. They don't have the same brake system, but they moved th radiator in the back to prevent damage, so they say. They also have what they call a step-through design, which makes it easier to get on and off. It is about 500 less than the bombardier, but i must admit I like the 1 up to 2 up option on the Bombardier.

Thats to bad. They are deffinatly worth looking at, thats for sure. You should find an ATV that can service your ATV in the area. Have you tried calling Bombardier?

Re: Took Titan Hunting

Bombardier makes ATV's for John Deere. They are one in the same, with the only difference being plastic, color, stickers, ect.

A friend of mine purchased a "Bomb" earlier this spring and both of us have been very impressed. I think they are worth a look!

Later,
Matt

Re: Took Titan Hunting

Great buck, Major!

Took my Titan hunting this year as well, and though he's not as big or impressive as yours, quite happy with the 9 point atypical I took last week...

Congrats!

Re: Took Titan Hunting

Well, I am back from my duck hunting trip. I did not do spectacular, but I got a hen and a drake Malard. Will post pics later.

The guys I went with had a Honda rancher. i was not overly impressed with it. I did like the fact that it had sealed brakes. A bunch of the other guys out there had Artic Cats. Any thoughts about those?

Re: Took Titan Hunting

A buddy of mine and I took a couple of cows in January, I couldn't hunt this winter due to a wreck a few months ago. Last time I had my Pathfinder with a trailer, next time I'm looking forward to going out with the Titan.
The smaller cow on the left was mine. I usually get cow tags, but I have a bunch of preference points for the drawing in '06 and might go for another bull again. I used to take my old 3/4 long bed, a good size elk just about fills up the bed i that. I wonder how well the King cab Titan will fit a bull and a buck (can't hardly get doe tags out here). The mulies are pretty good size too...

It's not a small one, but smaller than the one on the right. They are about average size for cow elk in Colorado.
I saw some pictures of white tail does from a freind back east yesterday and they looked tiny-like dogs. Not fair to compare elk to deer as far as size goes, but even mule deer seem to be much bigger than the white tail in the east. We have a few white tail here, mostly in the plains, but most the deer population here in my neck of the woods are mulies.
I like elk much better though!
