Try shooting that AK-47 at full auto with your eye close to the scope and see what happens im sure those 6 lbs of recoil will get you , ive seen things you havent seen, im sure of that.
Sorry, you can keep telling whatever lie you want, but it doesn't make it any more true than the first time. I own a few NFA weapons as well as used a few when I was in the military. So, yeah, I've got a pretty good idea about the subject matter.

Sure you have. You certainly don't remind me of the SF operators I've known. What group?

Take a hunting trip and kill as many bucks or doe's as you want since it seems like you do alot of backyard hunting, leave the real hunting for the real men. Hooorahhhhhhhhhh.
Only the very ignorant choose to respond with petty insults. Probably because they now they've been caught in a LIE.
So allow me to ask you ONE LAST TIME: how old are you and who told you that load of crap?
OK, I've got my sights on this thread and if it goes south, I've got the biggest weapon for solving the problem.
It's OK to disagree but do it without being disageeable.

I have an AK... Not exactly a precision firearm, but they are a blast for the price. Mines a semi, of course, but the recoil is very managable. That said, using a scope on it in auto mode would be futile, not because you would get punched in the eye, but because the gun is going to recoil enough for you to lose focus making the scope useless. Your first shot might be on target, subsequent shots you'd be trying to look around the scope.

This is true of most fully-automatic firearms due to the rate of fire, not recoil, but I'm not sure if our wannabe Rambo realizes that. Or can even adequately define those terms.
About the only machine guns I've handled that can remain on target in full-auto mode are either those with a VERY slow rate of fire (like the M3 and M3A1 "grease gun," 450 RPM) or one in .22 rimfire.
Speaking of penetration, I have a couple of hundred rounds of 30-06 Armor piercing shells with 1940's headstamps that will shoot right through an engine block and out the other side.
My dad brought home a crate of those one time. They will indeed do exactly what you say.
The most accurate weapon in my personal armory is - believe it or not - a Marlin 1894 Cowboy Special chambered in 45 long colt. That gun rocks! I love shooting it. Could be because I'm old enough to have grown up watching "The Rifleman" and "Gunsmoke" and saw all the old Clint Eastwood spaghetti westerns when the came out in the theater!
