Trail Camera Pics - lets see them!

Here are a few that I just pulled off the camera after putting it up Labor Day weekend. No bucks but it's just a matter of time...

Re: Trail Camera Pics - lets see them!

Nice!!!
You guys have some BIG bodied deer up there. That fawn is as large as our mature does.

Don't worry about not having any bucks in the pics, you know as well as I that when the rut kicks in wherever the does are the bucks will show up.

I checked my trail cam yesterday and it had 130 new pics on it in just three days. I have my camera set to take a photo every min. so I have multiple shots of the same deer. They're still feeding on acorns so they hang around for a while.

I have identified three different bucks though, they are just now starting to shed velvet. None of them are large, but hopefully the wife will get her first bow kill.

I see he's not shed his velvet yet. Most of the bucks I am seeing have already shed out. In fact I found two fresh "rubs" yesterday.

Re: Trail Camera Pics - lets see them!

Hey Chuck216, I noticed you are from Gulfport. Was down there on storm restoration with Electric Companies last year after Katrina. Was a real mess! Are you guys getting back to normal yet. Hope you did not get hit too bad, but I am sure it affected you. Sorry for hijacking this thread for a bit.

Hey asheborotitan, things are back to normal around here. If you go down to the beach it still looks bad. I didn't get hit that bad, we were real lucky. We stay here for the storm it was a mess.
