Re: PA duck hunt

Congrats to ya!!!!

Can't blame you for getting the Wood Duck mounted, IMO they are the prettiest duck out there.

A small creek runs through my property and we see a few Woodies from time to time, I plan on putting up some nesting boxes this spring. I don't duck hunt myself but it might help you guys out, lol.

Re: PA duck hunt

Nice! Gotta love those woodies, they are pretty. I'm hoping to get up to Currituck NC before to long and see how things look this year. It's been kinda slow over the last few years (only 5-10 kills per hunt). You can usually get a pretty good mixed bag though vs. inland hunting (teal, pintail, black duck and mallards).

Re: PA duck hunt

yea...go give it a try......hell...one duck can make the whole hunt.....the way you called it in...or the way it locked up and pitched right into the decoys....or a nice retrieve by your dog....that's all it takes to make a great hunt....

its all about the heartbeat...not goose meat...or duck meat
