Nice!!! Good weekend for 8pts.

With all the green on the tree's you have to be down south. Looks like Croom camp ground.

Actually that is my backyard in Chandler, Texas. I hunt about two miles down the road on Lake Palestine.

Re: Thanksgiving luck!

Im from Houston and I drive through there all the time. Any good hunting leases out that way. Im looking for something I can carry the family to. the place I hunt now is just 86 acres of lake bottom that isnt suttable for the family with all the hogs attacking camp.

Also Shane, East Texas is full of pines. Too many to deal with. Cant even grow grass because I cant keep up with all the pine needles.

Re: Thanksgiving luck!

Grass whats grass? IF the pines aren't too thick here the Palmetto's take over. Then if it's not worthless sugar sand it's swamp, very little in between.

I don't know of any leases available, I am looking myself. I have 40 acres but it is completely surrounded by timber company. Most of it is already leased out, I am hoping to find something right next to my place.
