Speaking of bowfishing, check these out

The gar below is the Lake Grapevine record longnose my friend shot last summer out of my boat. Think it was 17 1/2lbs and it was 58 inches long.

Here is a buffalo he shot and a carp a friend of ours shot.

Since Texas just passed the law that we can now shoot catfish, I had to see if it could be done and look what I got. Estimate it to weigh about 35lbs.
