Proud Papa

Hey guys,

Hope all are having a great waterfowl season! I have had a blast so far this year. The Canada trip was awesome, the ducks around here have been a blast. But I think the most memorable thing to happen this year, took place on Thanksgiving morning. Check out this thread, this is my 11 year old daughter, and I couldn't be more proud!!! She took this with her 20 gauge, using 3" #3 steel. And I tell you, her father (me), grandfather, uncle and friend have never screamed so loud for so long in our lives! She gave me a huge bear hug after she took it, and collapsed in my arms from the adrenaline rush.

Re: Proud Papa

That is awesome. I'm not much of a waterfowl hunter but I assume that is a Tundra Swan?

Congrats to the young hunter and to her dad and family for bringing her up the "right" way.

Re: Proud Papa

Nice Job! Give her a high five! Good to see someone else that feels hunting and shooting are required skills for their little girls to learn. Any time you spend with family is good time!
