O.T. But how far is TR Lake from Phoenix? I'm thinking that I might have to join the band wagon and move there in a couple years when I decide to buy a house.

Theodore Roosvelt, who the lake was named after.
How far depends on where you start from and what part you are trying to get to.
from downtown Phx to the dam thru Salt River Canyon, 3-4hrs.

oh, duh, I never even thought about it as Theodore Roosevelt lake, just Roosevelt, it takes me about an hour and a half to get there from my house in mesa which is southeast of phoenix, but I don't go thru salt river canyon I go thru globe

Re: white lifted titan at roosvelt lake on sunday

I was just looking at a map and saw three lakes near there. They look like 1/2 an hour away. I was thinking that moving to Phoenix was looking right up my alley. But an hour and a half is kind of far.

They are Saguaro, Apace, and Canyon. Lake Pleasant north of town is easy access with lots of bass fishing. Belive it or not, Az has the highest boats-per-capita than any other state.

Re: white lifted titan at roosvelt lake on sunday

the other 2 lakes apache and canyon are not so great got bass fishing right now with a problem called "golden algae" the 2 lakes back feed water between themselves for the hydro electricity and most people think that's the problem, but I'm not an environmental biologist so I could be just talking out of my arse
