Its a custom 9mm AR pistol with 3/4x10 threads for an SMG suppressor. The shell catcher is usually the loudest part... cops shouldn't have issues with things that are legal, although some don't know that NFA laws exist. Sucks we have to pay huge taxes to own such things.

nice. a friend has a pre-86 russian ak-47 (real machine gun) cheap to feed it and will the worst looking 7.62x39 you can put in the mags. had my class III SOT for 2 years when i started in gunsmithing business 19 years ago. had two that were mine and have since been sold (funny what having kids do to your collection). have had a h&k mp5-k and fn mag-58 belt fed .308. after 18years the batf finnally checked me and found i wasn't doing anything wrong but some things weren't being done right nothing illeagal just some incorrect wording in firearms a&d. now just waiting on ffl to expire in set. of 09 to get out the gun thing. long story short nice gun

I don't have kids, but I've been getting rid of a LOT of my stuff-- freeing up some cash for other projects. Thinking hard about putting my NFA items up for sale, as a package deal, for the "right price"...

I REALLY hope you are joking on the 40 rnd mag. Even though you have an MMG on it, you still have to abide my the CA law of 10 rnd maximum mags. The MMG simply allows you to run a detachable magazine with zero problems. Please PM me and I can give you some further inof and a website that can really help you out.
