Nice new toy.
7.62X39 ammo is in no way expensive.....however it has shown a slight increase in price around here.....now .223 for my AR is a different story. There are cheaper rounds for that too, but I am picky in my ammo.

Good looking rifle, and yes 7.62X39 ammo is cheap enough. Have fun at the range.

umm yes it is. at walmart its 25 bucks for 40 rounds
I want a gun collection like yours when i am older redneckpapa. Right now my home defense weapon is a remington 870 12 guage pump action with an 18 inch barrel and it holds 7 shells, it's the same gun Las Vegas swat uses. I also own a S&W .40 which holds 15 rounds which is hidden in my truck incase some guys tries to car jack me or whatever.
Ideally I would like to have a nice .30 06 or .308, another 12 guage which can be used to hunt (unlike my current one which is for people lol) and a nice AR15.
Here is a picture of what accompanies me hidden in my truck. Some people have tried to find it but can not....I would like to keep it that way lol.
nice toys guys.............hey Redneckpappa.....I feel sorry for anyone that breaks into your house...lol
I would love to hide my .45 in my Titan too.....however...if I did get carjacked...the son of a ***** that car jacked me would go free and I would go to jail....I love NJ....................!@#$%^&*

You live in Vegas! They have some great gun shows out there. I've picked up 7.62x39 box's of Russian made ammo at the shows there for $3.99 a box(20 rounds). I can get that same ammo here in Cali at Turners Sporting Goods for $5.99 when its on sale.I would not buy new brand name ammo unless you save the brass and do your own reloading.Especially for something like an AK where you would be blowing off 100's of rounds at a time.

I don't have any AK's anymore, but I do have 3 AR-15's... None of them however are in 5.56 NATO (.223). The real powerhouse of them feeds a round of my own design thru modified m-16 mags and has double the energy of a 30-06...

Yeah I live in Vegas as well and I buy all my ammo for my .40 at gun shows, wal mart and bass pro shop have the cheapest 12 guage shells though.
