I'm in the baltimore MD area (outskirts) just wondering if there are any bass or rock fisherman on the boards i can compare notes with :wink:

large mouth and strippers are two of the greatest sport fish to catch imo. Theres a little pond in my neighborhood loaded with bass. For strippers I usually hit broadkill beach or the indian river inlet. Two good places with the right bait.

I love catching big stripers probably more than anything, but if you're looking for pure sport you have to go for the larger bluefish (say anything bigger than 8#-10#. There isn't a fish in the ocean that pound for pound fights harder.

yea man I totaly agree. I used to catch them all the time in the indian river inlet in lower delaware on the coast guard. But they wont let us anymore since 911.
