Coyote

This one was killed right behind dad's house in VA sat. There were a lot more and there were really close by in woods from what we could hear. There were also two bears that came out to investigate the coyote after he went down and there were also a bunch of deer around all evening. Can't wait to deer and bear season come in!

Re: Coyote

I hate them things, mean as hell and no scared of humans at all. They have been known to attack small children thinking they are easy prey. I smoke everyone I see if I have a wespon or vehicle at my disposal. I killed 8 within 1 minute once while deer hunting. I was sitting on top of a ridge that had a field on one side and a pine thicket on the other. Heard the deer coming and they was moving FAST! 1 doe pops out about 40ft in front of me with 2 fawns and she was panting HEAVY! she looked at me and looked behind here and ran about another 150ft. Then 12-14 coyotes came out after them. She stumbeled and fell in the field and couldnt get back up from being so tired. THe dogs started attacking her and chasing the fawns. This is when I started barking fire with the .308. First one I rolled was the one biting at her throat, he done about 4 cart wheels and it got all there attention. they all paused looking at there friend doing gymnastics down the hill. Then I smoked the next one in the head and he instantly turned into a pink mist. then I started crackin off the ones trying to corner the fawns. after reloading and getting 4 more kills the few still standing ran off cause now they didnt not have a large pack.

Re: Coyote

the only good coyote is a dead one. they are hard on the rabbit population, and that makes rabbit season less fun for me!

Looks like a healthy yote. Congrats. I have them all around my place, but can never get a shot on them.

Re: Coyote

Here is one that is hanging around. He is very camera shy, I see him all the time but rarely get him on the camera. he almost look's like a cross between a coyote and a wolf.
