Ice Fishing!

Well guys - the hunting season is wrapping up and barring any second season bow I'm gearing up for getting out on the ice!

Any other fellow polar bears on the forums? Nothing says relaxing like sitting in a warm shanty all night watching tip ups and jigging for walleye

Re: Ice Fishing!

I hear ya there....I already started to buy new jigs and weights. Nothing beats frying up some fresh caught walleyes out on the ice

Re: Ice Fishing!

OMG! First I must admit I've never been ice fishing. But sitting on ice all day waiting on a fish sounds like torture. I can't stand it when it gets below 60 degrees. I don't see how you live up there. I'd freeze my kahones off on the ice.

LOL - I love the cold weather. It keeps the tourism down to just the summer! If it was nice up here all the time our state would be like Florida!

Re: Ice Fishing!

Ice fishing!?!? That's why I keep icecube trays in the freezer.... So I don't have to go fishing for it! Wow! Some of you guys really like to "rough it"....

We catch lots of fish that won't fit through a ten inch hole. But that hole in the pic doesn't look 10 inches.
