WOW what a great day for hunting!

The first saturday for rifle season and wow was it fun. Since monday was a complete washout (literally it rained hard all day) i was hoping today was going to better. And it started early by me shooting a doe first thing in the morning then in the afternoon i shot this bruiser. He came in with 6 does and 4 other bucks he stopped long enough for me to slip a 300 gr. XTP mag behind his front shoulder was shot with my Ruger Super Redhawk chambered in .454 Casull. He was anchored where he stood. Sorry for the pictures didn't have the the digital camera so you will have to settle for the camera phone pics.

Re: WOW what a great day for hunting!

Congrats to ya!! That's a fine buck for sure and a doe to top the stack.
I haven't seen a buck like that since Archery season..............but i'm still lookin,lol.

The bucks were chassing does earlier this week but unfortunatly no shooters yet. The second M/L season opens in the morning and runs for a week followed by another week of Archery, i'm still hoping for Mr. Big to show.

Again, congrats on a really fine buck!!!!
