Where do you keep your gun? What kind? Any tips?

I have a springfield 1911 with Fragmentation rounds I keep for home defence. I haven't thought of putting it in the truck till I read this thread. I might stash my P22 between the driver seat and shifter console.

I keep my Springfield 1911 .45 in between the seat and center console. Concealed carry permit in Arizona so I always keep it within arm's length no matter where I go. HydraShock 180 Grain for extra umpfh!

I carry a Ruger P97DC .45 in the console loaded with hollow points. It will do the job...
Sometimes I have the hand cannon A Ruger SuperBlackhawk .44mag as well.
