If you are ever in the area let me know, it is kind of hit an miss. They will be here some days and then nothing the next. I haven't got a shot at one since my brother killed his in may. Here is a pic of the one he shot, there were 3 others with this one, and I was going to shoot after him. But when he shoot they scattered and I never got a good shot.
Nice pics helo! Those few bigger ones are pretty decent sized, perfect for meat!
Yes they are, the white lines on the feeder legs are one foot apart. I did that so I could get a idea how big the animal were. They were all at the feeder when I was picking up the one I shot, and the feeder is only about 300 yards from the light I shot the other hog under.
Here are the pics of the light I have set up to shoot the hogs at night.
A little blood left over near the corn.
And in this pic I am standing near where the hog was shot looking back at my house. I shot the hog on the left side of my house, it is about 200 yards.
Not the one on the 4 wheeler. I used my browning a-bolt in .30-06, with a nikon 5.5-16.5 power scope. I had to shoot on 5.5, because if I increased the power at night the scope got to dark to see good.
