i have both and i prefer the BB. i was thinking if i was in an area where it wouldnt matter i would make it work regular.

decided it wasnt worth the risk.

i HIGHLY reccomend the BB

i'm really tempted in getting another ar. not a whole kit maybe just a lower receiver for now. when I get that one, i'll put the BB on it.

Before I bought my ar, I figured, I'll loosen the screw and use it as a regular mag release when loading. It's just too much work, loosen it and tighten it. the BB, just use a bullet and detach that way, no problems. just like you mentioned, not worth the risk.
