took a friend out this past weekend... the guy wit the long hair had never seen a nutria. so we took him out in the mudboat to see if we could find some... well we showed him how easy it was to just grab an alligator out of the water. well it started off with the small one, and with each gator he got a lil braver....by the time we were ready to head back he had pulled up a 6-1/2 footer into the boat. barehanded they were all caught just for pic purposes and to see if we could do it.....fun times
all of the gators in the pics were caught usin just our hands, and suprisingly we all left with all fingers attached

And they don't wiggle, thrash, or squirm to try to get out of your hands? Not sure I'd be playing with them..... in the dark.....
they were a lil rough once u grab em, but not bad, and the only way to get them is at night, when you shine a light in their eyes, they go completely blind, and thats when you can reach in and SNATCH em up
These are mine......SERIOUSLY!!! I live on an alligator farm.
From my back door to the fence:
BIG BOYS!!!!
We have about 20 of these bad boys in the pen. None under 7ft!!!! My fence surrounds the house and is buried 3 feet deep (8 ft fence). They love Catfish heads and bread. We harness the eggs (very carefully) and raise them at another covered pen.
Needless to say...Not too many visitors/trespassers
