Those work great when hooked up to power equipment. At my lease we will 5-6 deer come in at the same time. We will hang them and prep them for hide removal. We use a spreader bar that can be hooked two-three hides, takes about 2 minutes for a ATV wench to snatch down a 3 hides.

Cool, and you have done hogs that way? I would be worried about breaking the tendon (that doesn't look like I spelled it right) and the hog falling down.

yes and that is my prefered way. Not that breaking a tendon can't happen but it has never happened to me. I have done countless deer that way to. Back in my public land hunting days when skinning was done at the nearest hanging branch and it was 9pm before i got the deer out and all I had was head lights I could undress a deer in about 10 minutes and having him in the cooler. I work a lot slower these days.

But yeah that's how processors clean them and deer a like. Now if your scared you can use a adjustable chain with a hook on the end and wrap around your spreader bar and run the hook in to the pelvic bone. This will add some strenght and help out the tendons.

Cool, I can clean a deer in about 15 minutes, but hogs take quite a bit longer. The one I shot yesterday had a layer of fat about 3 inches thick on the back of his neck, and about a 1/2 inch thick on his back and butt.

It's my fault...I shoulda shot that 5 point elk and sent half of it home with you....sorry.
I could send you some firewood though...so you could stay warm next winter.

If you had shot the 5 point, we would of seen a 6X on the way back to camp. Then you woulda been POd. If I had one on the wall as big as yours I would of done the same thing.

I'll pass on the firewood, but thanks for offering. I really should get a wood burner, there are enough trees that fall naturally around here that I would never have to cut one down.

BTW, i'm not getting bigger, just better, and you know for a fact i've never had a Miller Lite in my life.

If you've never had a Miller Lite in your life....then you must be re-born since last Fall...
What's up with Lite beer...is that for when you are on a diet? Kinda like eating Chocolate cake Lite... Cut me a big slice...it's lo-cal!
