Just got another hog

Shot him at 200 yards, and he was walking away from me. He ran about about 40 yards and I finished him off with my .357. Got to love shooting from the house.

Thanks. He was too heavy for me to load on my 4 wheeler, so I had to drag him to my house.

when i was married to my x her grand dad had 7miles of land about 180,000 acres i believe and we used to trap about 12 a week down by the creek that ran through his property

Damn, she would have to have been a real ****** to let her go. I would put up with quite a bit if my wifes' grand dad had that much land.

when you come home from work early, with flowers and she is on top of another guy(which she is currently dating) that pretty much sealed the divorce papers. lol.

One freezer is completely full, the other one is about half full, and the rest is full of ice. I am getting another freezer next week. Hopefully I can arange a meet at my house for the good people on this site, and will be able to BBQ up a bunch of meat.

Excuse my ignorance (I'm from the Suburbs), but before Helomech's earlier post on catching Hogs, I didn't know we had any in the States!

Pretty impressive looking hogs there.

Many many years ago russian boars where introduced, and were released. Later on domestic hogs got loose and breed with the russian boar, what we have is a mix (mostly domestic) breed and they are reffered to as Feral hogs. Texas has millions of them, and there is some speculation that every state in the nation will have them in the next 20 years or so. I know they are in Louisiana, and they were not really there 15 years ago.
