Exclamation Official IRC VK56 Club Colors
After a longer process than some would have liked, we have arrived at an official logo for the club. We would like to thank everyone for their entries and hope this is a logo that most club members will display without to many reservations. We would have liked to put it forth for an official vote but time is of the essence here if we are going to go to print anytime soon. A lot of member and some non-member comments helped to create this final version and many people had a part in the final look of this design. We are still open to new versions for front fender emblems and window banners so this is by no means the end of the process but rather the beginning. It is my pleasure to announce your club colors, silver, black and red. An image of the official club logo is attached below, please feel free to use it as an avatar if you choose. Thanks again for all the time and effort that everyone contributed and wear these colors with pride because this club races to win.

Check out the small modification Sobe did and I really like it and he made sense in stating that it looks more like lanes this way instead of just stripes.

That's it folks, final refinements made and it's off to the print shop. Thanks again for all the help and it won't be long till you can sport one on your whip if ya like. Attached is the final version of the club colors and please feel free to use it as an avatar.

That’s great, I like the enthusiasm. It's too bad that guy looks like he works at Boston Market. I was driving by Boston Market this morning and I realized where I had seen that look before. It looks like the corner of their gable. For those of you that are unfamiliar with Boston Market, they serve a lot of chicken and their colors are red, black and white. Their chicken is good but I'm not sure we want to look like we work for them, lol. I have no intention of changing the colors of our first logo but I am working on a more detailed Tach design and will complete it this evening. I had originally scrapped the Strip design because it looked kind of like a circus tent to me but it got a lot of love so I said what the heck, sure, why not. Then on my way to work this morning I see the Boston market roof that looked suspiciously like our logo and decided to work more on refining the Tach design before it goes too final printing. This will not interfere with the printing because the first step is to approve the colors and that is under way now, and since I have the original design I can refine it at will. I will post something else this evening so have a look when you get a chance and I guess this ain't over till we go to press.
