fastet 0-60 for a titan.

I was just curious what the fastest anyone is getting and what they're running,
s/c, exhaust, that sort of thing

It would be from an uprev tunned truck not a SC one. Are you talking about fastest overall like the magazines test? because that time would come from a dragstrip with excellent traction or the use of drag radials on the track. Maby have people distiguish track/Drag radial/ or street.
Theres a bunch of us in the mid 5 seconds in street trim so DR's will be much better. (toomnymods i think has a 0-60 in the 4's with N20 )

Re: fastet 0-60 for a titan.

I am sure I have the fastest, Non header, Non catback 0-60

At the track with drag radials, I can put down 0-60 in 5.7 flat. On the streets with 22's I am at 6.02 (22's are larger than stock so I am actually still in the 5's on them)

This is with

2007 Crewcab XE
Uprev Tuned
Detroit Tru-trac
Drag radials
S&B Cai

Re: fastet 0-60 for a titan.

I can't and don't try to claim fastest, however i will chime in and post my results as well.

FST w/22's will run right @ 5.90-6.00 sec 0-60 all day long. Thats with moderate tire spin with normal air pressures.

You can claim fastest 0-60 with step rails or something silly like I did, lol.

It's all in good fun for me because the fact is, without having a head to head, these times are too close to call when the trucks are running within a tenth or two, even when you run the DA calcs.

I have yet to see anyone else hook on the factory AT tires though, so I'll take what I can get, lol.

Ok.....I am the fastest with Brembo brakes!!!

I think i could get a few more out with the OEM's on there and the pressure at around 25lbs. The tru-trac and traction bars help......but not enough.

See, that wasn't so tough, lol. Fastest Brembo brake equipped Titan it is.

My intent was not to muck up this thread and I'm sorry for the semi hijack but let me clue everyone unaware about the weather into what goes on when you time these trucks.

When I ran the 13.85 on snow tires in full street trim, I expected to run a 13.95. The next run I put down a 13.96 when I expected to run a 13.80 because it was a little cooler out. I had a better 60' time on the second pass and still ran slower because the humidity came up but such is life.

Drag racing and time runs are all subject to the amount of oxygen in the air and the lower the density altitude the better the run will be. once people start running within a tenth or two of each other in similar DA's, it's anybodies guess which truck is quicker and about the only sure way to test it is in a head to head race.

Between DA, track conditions and in some cases timing or testing equipment variations, it's tough to tell but one thing is for sure, once you get modded like any of the top ten trucks, hang on cause it's a wild ride and you may want to bring along an extra set of shorts, lol.

I don't think that's an correct statement......to my understanding talking with Nissan...and part of the reason they have a law suit against them right now....all the Titans are calibrated to the SE/LE wheel diameter...not the 245 XE diameter.
I can't show Cipher times below 6 seconds. Do you think you can beat me 0-60?

Rossi we have talked about this many times. I do not have 275/60/18's I have the xe steelies, And my 22's are a hair taller than my stockers.

If you had my same mods, yes I would beat you to 0-60. If you read my first post I said fastest non header non catback titan, but if you want to come to DFW Truck Wars no harm in running them

Read edited post above....there is a law suit against Nissan right now due to this. The Titan is calibrated to one tire...the SE/LE wheel. The XE's are showing more mileage on them then they really have....due to the short tire.

Re: fastet 0-60 for a titan.

yeah your pretty close. I can't get this thing to run a sub 6 0-60 no matter how hard I try...just can't do it. Then I go to the track and put down huge 60' times and great 1/8 mile times.

But I see 0-60 times posted all over the place that slap on mine. So....in all honesty...I no longer put much faith in the Cipher 0-60 as a comparison tool against one another. It's great to test on your own truck. But I don't think it's an accurate comparison against other trucks since there are so many variables involved.

I've seen trucks that run 14.5's put down better 0-60's then I can using Cipher. Then I dig into it and find out there using a tire 1 inch shorter then stock. And then it comes down to....Cipher reads the spedometer.....which is never 100% correct!

But it is a great too to judge mods on your own truck. Every mod i do I can guess the time I will run at the track per my 0-60 Cipher times...since I have so many of them on my truck. I can tell by that time what I will run.

But I'm not knocking you King....you've got one fast truck. I wish I had a 2007....I think I'd have the fastest N/A Titan if I did!!!
