PAPARYNO in the T H I R T E E N 'S !!!

Well Titan Lovers...... I couldn't get home fast enough to get these posted. Drove 2.5 hours to Gulf Port's 1/4 miler(finally) and the weather was great!! 49 degrees, 45% humidity.

I had some unbelievably ridiculous reaction times as it was my first time with DR's and i loved them. I was soo concentrated on how to launch that I forgot to pay attention to the light... oh well.. the end made me smile. I ran 3 NA runs with DR's... 2 Nitrous 75 shot runs,... and 2 NA run with my stock 18's (for RB)sorry Randy, I tried ..
My 60's should've been better but on two of the runs I spun like crazy. I launched @ 1800-2000 and the tires said NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!! I kept trying and finally found 1200-1400 to be the best launch this night with minimal spin.. however, I will be raising my truck back up ASAP as it hated these launches lowered. It has always launced smoothly at normal height but lowered it felt like A semi had yanked my frame out from under the truck. I didn't like the feel although I've never launched with DR's either ..

Time Slips..

Re: PAPARYNO in the T H I R T E E N 'S !!!

Excellent run times!! You did very well with the stock 18's. In fact, you had your best 60' time with the stock 18's, and your 1/8 mile 8.7774 falls in very close to the DR's 8.7706. Now why did the 18's fall off near the 1/8 and the DR's performed better? Must be a wheel, tire weight issue coming up on the 1/8 mile and afterwards? Your trap speeds were better with the DR's, and that gave you more momentum into the final 1/8 mile. It would appear this throws out the idea of better 60' times with the DR's.

yeah, I'm just used to the stock 18's.. no preload, just brake to gas.. no rocket science... but the DR's took some gettin used to. I can definitely get into the 1.8's in the 60's. definitely...
