I'm not a Land Shark, I'm only a Dolpnin, lol.

I was asked if my truck was named after Jimmy Buffet's beer or his song and the answer is neither.

For those who remember the old Saturday Night Live show in it's heyday, you may remember this skit and for those who haven't seen it, you'll know why my truck is named the Land Shark. I sneak around eating unsuspecting trucks by first convincing them I'm harmless, lol.

The skit was longer than this and I wish they showed the whole thing but you will get the idea.

Most of the time I am but if there is a race with somebody that's less than friendly about it, I strap the fin on my back and have at um, lol.

That car is owned by the Herbst family and has won a ton of races. It's being retired soon to their museum.

It is the true LAND SHARK

But the question is, which came first, the Chevy Chase or the Buggy chase, lol.

Sweet ride in any case and I just saw a really good documentary on one of the movie channels called "Dust to Glory" about the Baja 1000, it was an awesome film and I think I'll buy it if I see it around.

Some idiot in the movie handed Mario Andretti his keys and expected to get his truck back in one piece, lol and they had to hitch a ride with an old couple.

The women had no idea who Mario was and loaded his arms with crap while she got the back seat ready to give them them a lift after Mario pummeled the poor guys truck, lol.

That is a great movie by Buce Brown. Best quote from Mario " You didnt drive fast enough to charge the battery!" and "Its like riding a flying couch" Thats where a 200k prerunner gets you.

Lol, yeah, I forgot about the flying couch comment.

I just got a kick outta that guy trying to get Marion to slow down, lol. What did you think would happen dude? It's like handing a 16 year old the keys to a new Sports car and telling them not to exceed the speed limit, yeah right, lol.
