Your absolutely correct. I've done the shopping around here in Tampa, FL and I've found no one who will touch the job for less than 2700.00 bucks. Performance shop wants over 3 grand including the uprev. Since my truck has over 160k miles and I'm not experiencing any noticeable mpg issues or performance loss, and my plugs are clean, two different shops have the opinion the cats are burnt out. I may be experiencing some high AF Ratios, but have not had that checked. I see a number of listing here from people selling their used cats and wanting upwards of 600 dollars for them. The labor cost being relative, 8 hours estimated, the labor alone is about a grand, so do you spend 800 to 1000 for the new OEM or Performance or gamble with used for 600 to 800 and hope that within a short period of time, the used cats throw the CEL and P codes again? Sounds like time to start thinking trade in.......

I've got the same truck and the same problem. Please tell me what you've done to correct the SES light / CAT problem and still meet emissions requirements. I'm all ears. We have a Courtesy Nissan here in Tampa, Florida.
