I bought an '08 Nissan Titan 4X2 new in 2007 with the 5.6Ltr.engine. I've kept it serviced per the maintainance guide in the owners manual. My Titun just recently turned 54,000k & I have all of my service record's. I have had all of the factory recalls fixed, my truck has been smoking at start-up for about one year, and the motor is full of sludge. The service dept is now trying to blame the sludge in the valve covers on poor engine service. The only thing done to my truck by the service dept. was an oil and filter change and returned to them in aprox. 1000k where an oil consumption test was supposed to have been done but the service manager admitted that he didn't do the consumption test as directed by the Nissan Tech Line and admitted that he just took my word that it was using oil which it was.The intake manifold and valve covers have been removed by the Service Dept.
Can anyone tell me what to expect when the (DTS) meets me at the dealership?:gossip::fight::flamed::gunz:
